# Architecture in the UAE

> Collaborative Architecture in the UAE: the Iconic Mosque for Emaar, the Bearys Wafira residences, The Souk for Dubai Design Week; all seven emirates.

The studio’s work in the United Arab Emirates began in Dubai, with The Souk, a prize-winning timber pavilion for Dubai Design Week 2019, the Iconic Mosque, and the Bearys Wafira residences and experience center. The studio takes on commissions in all seven emirates and across the Gulf, where it has also worked in Bahrain and Qatar. For the 2027 Venice Biennale, it proposed The Measured City for the National Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates, an exhibition that maps decades of urban development across the emirates.
