# The Spline | Stack 2

Pavilion for Concéntrico, Logroño. Logroño, Spain. Design: Collaborative Architecture.

The Spline | Stack 2 is Collaborative Architecture’s proposal for a public pavilion at Concéntrico, the international architecture and design festival in Logroño, Spain. It draws on the square’s intersecting pedestrian routes, translating them into a timber structure that supports public interaction while keeping views across the square open.

## Key facts

- Location: Logroño, Spain
- Client: Concéntrico, International Festival of Architecture and Design
- Typology: Pavilion, Temporary architecture
- Status: Competition entry
- 250 × 20 mm poplar strips, CNC cut and milled

## A stacked timber screen

The pavilion is formed from 250-by-20-millimeter poplar strips, CNC-cut and milled, then joined with vertical members and solid infills to create a rigid three-dimensional screen. The structure can be fabricated in smaller segments and assembled or dismantled on site, simplifying construction and logistics.

## A place to meet

A circular table around the square’s tree provides a visitor interface for information points and self-registration. The pavilion connects the square’s existing movement with a clear point of public exchange.

By combining a light-touch spatial intervention with straightforward fabrication, The Spline | Stack 2 extends the life of the square while preserving its visual openness.
