Design and Behavioral Mapping
Human behavior as a generator of space
We investigate how people live, work, interact, move, and occupy space before design begins. Through behavioral mapping, organizational analysis, workshops, and spatial audits, we translate patterns of use into evidence-based insights that shape the brief and inform design decisions. This process grounds our work in the needs, aspirations, and behaviors of the people who inhabit the spaces we create.
From mapping to implementation
Our methodology combines three complementary approaches. Organizational mapping examines team structures, workflows, and patterns of collaboration. Participatory workshops bring future users into the design process, integrating their experiences and aspirations. Spatial audits assess existing environments, materials, and patterns of use to identify what works and where improvements are needed.
The same integrated team supports implementation through procurement, vendor coordination, document control, and payment certification. This continuity connects research and design intent with project delivery, helping ensure that the completed environment reflects the approved design.
